Birthday weekend!! So blessed!!!

So this weekend was very eventful!!

Friday was my birthday which was fun!

i went and worked out with my mom in the morning we walked to the gym worked out and then walked home it was nice to do cardio outside instead of walking on the treadmill or doing the elliptical!

then i met Lindsey Gatlin later in the day and we went to Disneyland! it was totally fun but it was so crowded that we only got on one ride! but we had fun anyway!

then i came home and cleaned the house and made enchiladas and 7 layer dip! which tasted so good! And a bunch of my friends came over and hung out and ate food!! it was fun!!

sat morning

i met Lindsey at 730am and we drove out to Murrieta for a teens in crisis seminar!! It was so amazing and i learned so much and Lindsey and i had some great fellowship! i love her! she is amazing!

I had to leave the seminar a little bit early so that i could meet Rebbecca at the bible college. We were singing in the coffee shop for women's retreat. We also lead worship for the Afterglow that night which was a total blessing! it's so amazing to be able to be used by the Lord in so many ways!!! i am amazed everyday that He would choose someone like me to do His work. AMAZING!!!

Sunday was even more amazing!

Pete asked me to play a song a church which of course made me freak cuz i had nothing prepared or even thought about. Thankful a week earlier I had lent a few of my songs to max so that he could make copies for himself. One of the songs was At the Cross so i played that. It was so powerful!! The Lord really used it in my life and others said that they were really blessed by it too! At the end of the study when Pete did his usual altercall a ton of people came forward! it is so amazing to see the things that the Lord is doing in our church!

Then i took my cousins on a tour of my school which was fun!

then went to my theology class!

and then we had family dinner at pizza d oro which was tasty as usual!!!

it was a pretty great weekend! now i have this week and then i go to Utah for the week!!! yay! spring break!

Amazing!!

It's amazing what the Lord does when you are listening to Him and are willing to do anything that He says!

The Lord has been doing some amazing things in my life He is teaching me so much!! He is stretching me and giving me a different perspective on life! Just learning to here His voice and know His leading is amazing!!!

I'm excited to see what He is going to continue to teach me!

Love is Stronger than Death

So for some reason camp was well different than normal. I felt like the whole thing was just different! It was good I loved my cabin all the girls were awesome i have had all of them in a cabin either for Jr high or high school camps before so i knew most of them! we actually slept which was really weird for a camp! and i went snowboarding all day Saturday which i guess made things a little weird to!

The Lord really spoke to me to! He showed me more of my calling and who He wants me to be. It's always exciting when He makes things more clear to us! He really showed me how important it is to always be be focused on Him and to be seeking Him in everything!

Last night was the hospital ministry again! Last week Kate and i met this guy charlie at saint Joesph's. the next day he was having brain surgery so we were able to pray for him and encourage him. So this week Kate and i were planning on going back there to talk to him more. When we got there we called because we had not heard from him all day. We found out that he was in ICU and had gone through another surgery. We weren't able to visit him but we did drop off some pictures for him. So hopefully he is doing better today and maybe we can go back one of these days to see him.

School advising

So i went and saw my advisor today! I hate when i talk to an advisor and totally forget to ask all of my questions oh well!! but she said that i should add a Child Development and Family Studies major to mine. therefore double majoring and looking at it i only have to talk 3 extra classes in order to do that so i have really thinking about it! I guess i will pray about that this week and maybe i will do that it would be good i guess! but she also said i would probably have 4 semesters left but looking at the classes and stuff it doesn't really make sense to me so i guess i need to go back and talk to her about that and see where she gets that from! whatever! at least i have all of my general ed done!!!! and now i have to start looking for an internship ugh!!
