I just got back from jr high summer camp! It was totally amazing! The Lord worked in so many ways! The theme this year was lucha libre and basically all about spiritual life being a battle! We are always wrestling against the enemy! But the Lord has made us more than conquerors!
He has the Victory all we have to do is surrender to Him and He will fight! Amazing!
I miss being a part of the Jr high! It was such a blessing to be there! I want to be part of the jr high ministry and the high school ministry they are both amazing and I have a heart for both! It's awesome to see them grow up and to see the Lord working in their lives!
Ugh... I wish I could split myself into parts so that I could be a part of all of the ministries! There are so many things that I want to do but it's hard knowing exactly where the Lord wants me! I need to just wait on the Lord and pray and see what He wants me to do!

Imago Dei
Well camp was great!
As always the Lord totally filled the place! It was such a blessing to be there and not to be at home. I can't believe that the Lord would use someone like me to minister to high schoolers. I love all the girls that I had in my cabin some of them had been in my cabins before so that was nice at least I already knew them!
I was totally blessed to be able to lead worship for some of the sessions and devotions. The Lord is so amazing in the way that He speaks and moves in our lives! It's amazing to see that no matter what goes on the Lord still does His work and people's lives are changed.
I think I might have been the most blessed when I came home. I know that sounds strange but Saturday when I got back I was asked to teach for the youth at my church. I was also teaching that morning for first service at CCCM in the junior high. At first I thought there is no way that I would be able to plan 2 studies in one day! But as soon as I got reading I got really excited!
For Braveheart I was teaching on John 3:22-30. In case you haven't read that in a long time verse 30 says "He must increase, but I must decrease." It was so convicting to teach on that. To see John the Baptists perception of life and the things that the Lord had called Him to do.

Pre-Camp post
So Sunday I am leaving for High School camp. I can't believe it has actually been a year since last summer camp. It seems like just yesterday that we were leaving for last summers camp so weird. It's going to be strange without the seniors and with all the new freshmen! I am always so blessed at camp and excited to see what the Lord is going to do this year!
Please keep us in prayer as we go and throughout the week! The Lord is going to do awesome things and I am really excited to see what He does.

Update
So I don't know who all knows but I went on a Cruise for a week! well that was June 24-31 so it was a while ago now! anyway I will post pictures and stuff for that one later! Well... The day I got back I moved out of my house! well kind of! I am living for the next month or so in Laguna well it's more like aliso viejo! anyway it's totally fun!!

Schools Out for the Summer
I realized that I have not posted in a really long time! Well that is mostly because I have been so insanely busy with school! With all of my papers and presentations and tests I have had no time to enjoy life!
This week was so crazy!! On Tuesday I thought I had my final for my stress and coping class so i finished the paper for it on Monday night and thought I was good. Then on Tuesday morning when I went to school at 8 I realized that my final for the day was at 10:45!! What? oh and it was in my marriage and family class. I had not even started the paper for that class yet! ugh... So i went home and started working on my paper. I had no time to waste! I didn't even eat or go to the bathroom oh my gosh i thought I was going to die! how do you write a 10 page paper in and hour and a half!! insane! Some how I was able to write it. I didn't read over it or anything so I am sure I missed a ton of errors! oh well but i made it to class (20 minutes late) and took the test which i had not studied for because i thought it was on Thursday! that was the most stressful morning of my life!
After that the rest of the week went well! I finished the rest of my papers! (my paper on rape ended up being 18 pages.)
So now i am done for the summer well kind of i do have a final next week in my sociology class.
And on Sunday I am leaving for a cruise!! heck yes I am so excited! I will post when i get back!!

Kappa Omicron nu
So last nigth i was officially initaited into kappa omicron nu! Ok so it's not really that exciting! but it is kinda cool!
it's the national honor society at Long Beach State!
So i am officially greek!
